I received my undergraduate degree from the Department of Biological Sciences and Technology, Tsinghua University, and my PhD degree from Cornell University, USA. I have led three NIH and one USDA research projects with a total of USD 3.3 million, and participated in many major projects in the US and Europe. My research has been published in more than 20 top journals including Nature Cell Biology, Nature Communications, Poultry Science, and Biology of Reproduction. I have published in more than 20 top professional journals including Nature Cell Biology, Nature Communications, Poultry Science, Biology of Reproduction, etc., with an average impact factor of IF>10. I have been invited to give nearly 60 presentations at international conferences and prestigious universities. My laboratory has trained more than 40 postdoctoral, doctoral and master's degree holders, medical doctors and undergraduates.

I graduated from Zhejiang University in 2018 with a Ph.D. degree.I has been committed to elucidate the function and molecular mechanism of RNA modification in physiological and pathological processes.My another research interest is to develop novel genome editing tool.
I received my PhD degree in Zoology (Endocrinology specialization) from the Bharathiar University, India during 2005. Since my PhD, I am continuously working on the basis science of Reproductive Biology and Germ Cell Biology. My present research interest is to analyze the functions of coding and noncoding RNAs during the early germ cell development.

I earned my Bachelor's degree from Shandong University and my Ph.D. from the Institute of Neurosciences, CAS. Prior to joining the Li lab, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at UC Riverside. My research focuses on mRNA regulation in neurodevelopment and related disorders, and I have published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals such as Neuron, eLife, and Molecular Therapy Nucleic Acids. In the Li lab, I am leveraging my expertise in RNA biology to explore the following: (1) the roles of MOV10L1 and TDRD1 in piRNA biogenesis, (2) the function of non-TE piRNAs during spermatogenesis, and (3) sperm-specific mRNA regulation.

During my Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Bichun Li, I explored the function and mechanism of long noncoding RNAs in chicken primordial germ cell. My current research is focused on the Genome-scale screening in the chicken primordial germ cell.

I obtained my PhD degree in Genetics at Kunming Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2023. Throughout my doctoral training, I mainly focused on regulatory evolution of the hybrid incompatibility and phenotypic evolution in avian species. Currently, my research is to study the origin and evolutionary history of piRNA, and the evolution of transposable elements domestication across species.
Adebayo Opabunmi, PhD studentI obtained my Master degree from the University of Ibadan, where I explored the ameliorative potentials of combined treatment of vitamin E and testosterone on diabetes-induced dyslipidemia, beta cell necrosis, and reduced sperm count and sperm motility in animal models of diabetes using various scientific techniques. My current research interests are to: (1) Investigate the role of germ-line RNAs in shaping the flow of epigenetic information. I will be using interdisciplinary strategies to create alternative model organisms to explore germ cell properties. (2) Elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying the functional role of long non-coding RNA in testicular germ-cell tumors development and metastases, and possible precision diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

I graduated from Shandong University Seven-year program of clinical medicine. During my master's degree, I conducted research on ovarian cancer in the Gynecological Oncology Laboratory of Qilu Hospital. As a PhD student of Professor Li, I am interested in RNA-mediated epigenetics in sperm. My research focus on the mechanisms lead (Pb)-mediating transgenerational effect through the male germline.

I am a graduate with both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Clinical Medicine, specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a focus on Gynecologic Oncology, from Wenzhou Medical University. My previous research has been centered around biomimetic nanomaterials and detoxification of chemotherapy drugs. As a doctoral student under the guidance of Professor Li, my future research will be dedicated to RNA therapy, specifically mRNA delivery-related studies.

I graduated from Tongji University with a bachelor degree in biotechnology, and a master degree in biomedical engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology. During my master's degree, under the guidance of Professor Chen Fangyi, I was engaged in the screening of deafness-related genes and animal behavior research. After graduation, I engaged in single-cell research in Gene+, BGI Research Institute and other units. I am currently studying in the research group of Professor Gang Li from FHS of the University of Macau. During my doctoral period, I hope to use single-cell sequencing to study the heterogeneity of RNA between cells, and provide methods for diagnosis and RNA therapy of diseases based on RNA differences.
